We provide webinars, interpreting, and language group mentoring and self-paced e-learning activities that support interpreter’s professional development. In addition, we provide unique trainings throughout the year that highlight our consumers’ diverse cultural backgrounds and bring awareness to social justice and power and privilege dynamics.

DIA offers Affinity Group Mentoring for BIPOC with the goal for ethnically diverse Deaf interpreters to discuss and explore strategies identifying power, privilege and oppression implications impacting consumers, team and interpreting situations, and support communication equality.
